Mediq are recruiting for a Business Intelligence Senior Analyst to join our Commercial team in Castle Donington. Reporting into the Commercial Excellence Manager you will focus on data extraction, transformation and automation. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to implement advanced data processing and analytical approaches to address critical commercial opportunities and collaborate with our commercial organisation to drive value.
Salary - £50,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data integration.
- Automate data workflows to streamline business processes and improve commercial and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with commercial stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical, actionable solutions
- Monitor and proactively resolve ETL and workflow processes to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement data quality and validation checks
What are we looking for?
You will be working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment and will be required to leverage technical expertise to enhance decision-making processes and contribute to the overall strategic goals of the organisation. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in Power BI within a professional/commercial environment.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or related field preferred
- Advanced DAX and Power Query
- Extensive experience with SQL and database management, especially in manipulating and querying extensive datasets.
- Expertise in ETL processes, with a demonstrated ability to integrate data from various sources and formats
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with the willingness to undertake further development, training
- Analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyse complex data requirements and develop efficient solutions
- Preferable | Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or related field preferred
- Experience of value creation trough statistical analysis or R/Python (Desirable)
- Experience with CRM solutions (Desirable)
