Business Partner – Supply Chain & Operations

Mediq are looking for a Business Partner who will work closely with the Operations Director and report to the Head of FP&A & Business Partnering. You'll be a strategic leader and trusted advisor, focussed on optimizing processes, managing costs, and driving efficiency across the supply network. The role specifically involves strategic planning, driving value creation within Supply Chain & Operations, procurement, logistics coordination and inventory management.
Salary - £55,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Take ownership and accountability for financial outcomes in Supply Chain & Operations.
- Value Creation: Maximize growth through margin management, operational efficiency, procurement strategies, and evaluating new business opportunities.
- Strategic Execution: Manage budgeting, forecasting, and performance targets, translating strategies into actionable plans. Drive achievement of results
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Influence and act as trusted advisor for decision-makers. Proactive cross-functional collaborator driving profitability and efficiency.
- Actionable Insights: Provide meaningful interpretation of financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have worked within distribution / logistics sector and have knowledge of supply chain functions.
- Experience in Business Partnering or FP&A roles supporting Operations and Supply Chain functions, to include experience in distribution.
- Strategic Acumen: Expertise in strategy execution, competitive analysis, and pricing.
- Financial Proficiency: Proven ability to analyse complex data, support strategic decision-making, and optimise financial performance.
- Results-Driven: Proven track record of delivering measurable business impact.
- Leadership & Communication: Comfortable with providing strong challenge whilst maintaining stakeholder relationships.
