ERP Programme Manager

The ERP Programme Manager is responsible for coordinating the portfolio of transformation projects in Mediq UK, including the IFS Cloud ERP implementation, WMS integration, E-commerce portal migration and several interdependent digital and business change initiatives.
This role ensures strategic alignment, cross-project integration, and organisation-wide change readiness during one of Mediq UK’s most significant transformation programs.
The Programme Manager works closely with IFS Solution Implementation Project Manager and the local Business Transformation Manager to secure a successful end to end implementation.
Salary - £85,000 + Company Car / Car Allowance
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Coordination & Governance
- Lead the integrated transformation portfolio covering ERP, WMS, and all supporting system replacements.
- Maintain a unified roadmap showing sequencing, dependencies, critical paths, and business readiness.
- Establish and run portfolio-level governance, steering committees, and executive reporting.
- Ensure decision-making accounts for cross-program impacts and enterprise-wide consequences.
End-to-End Process Transformation
- Oversee transformation of all core business processes due to the complete application landscape replacement.
- Facilitate process harmonisation, standardisation, and alignment with Mediq IFS common processes and best practice.
- Ensure end-to-end process integration across Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Deliver, and related value streams.
- Work closely with process owners to redesign current local processes to align with Mediq ways of working.
Enterprise Change & Communication Leadership
- Lead a robust enterprise change strategy that recognises the scale and depth of process and system change.
- Build a business-wide change network to support adoption across all functions and sites.
- Manage change readiness, including training, communications, stakeholder mapping, and adoption metrics.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership during significant organisational and operational shifts.
Project Delivery Oversight
- Provide oversight for the IFS UK implementation, WMS deployment, E-commerce portal and all connected initiatives.
- Ensure smooth coordination between ERP, WMS, integration layers, data migration, and legacy system decommissioning.
- Monitor quality, risks, budget adherence, vendor performance, and delivery health.
Resource & Vendor Management
- Align internal and external resources across multiple workstreams to avoid bottlenecks.
- Manage system integrators, consultants, and partners delivering ERP, WMS integration, and complementary solutions.
- Ensure vendor deliverables align to overall program strategy and timelines.
Data, Integration & Technology Coordination
- Oversee technical integration across ERP, WMS, CRM, e commerce, and other systems being replaced.
- Drive data governance, data migration strategy, and the creation of stable master data processes.
- Support architecture decisions to ensure long-term stability and scalability.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale ERP or enterprise transformation programs, ideally involving full system landscape replacement. You will also have a strong track record coordinating multi-project portfolios. It’ll be great if you also have:
- Experience with ERP (IFS preferred) and WMS (Blue Yonder preferred) implementations.
- Demonstrated capability leading enterprise-wide business change and process transformation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple vendors, SI partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills (planning, governance, issue management).
- Experience working in a global or multi-country environment is an advantage.
- Experience working in distribution, healthcare logistics, or similar operational environments.
