We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead and oversee our financial operations and contribute to the strategic growth of the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities - What are you going to do?

 

  • Coordinate the month-end closing process for the local Lithuanian entity, collaborating with outsourced accounting service providers to analyze and control accounting data.
  • Oversee and manage balance sheet reconciliations, monthly reporting, and variance analysis, identifying reasons for fluctuations. Act as a key participant in Balance Sheet review meetings with the Group.
  • Report Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet (BS), Capital Expenditures (Capex), Functional Costing, and related forms to the Group using the Cognos consolidation tool.
  • Lead the budget forecasting process, coordinating end-to-end activities, including the development of existing templates.
  • Coordinate the audit process, serving as the main point of contact for audit inquiries.
  • Prepare and monitor intercompany recharges, identifying areas for improvement and enhancing the existing recharge model.
  • Deliver various reporting requests related to financial data and budget.
  • Drive continuous improvements in the finance controlling area.
  • Provide reporting and analytical support to local management.
  • Analyze financial data to offer actionable insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • Recommend optimizations for company accounting and financial management processes, contributing to the development of accounting and related operations.
  • Participate in monitoring the preparation and execution of the company's short-term and long-term financial plans.

 

Qualifications and Skills - What is your background?

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Financial Controller role, or as a senior finance specialist with at least 2 years in a Financial Controller capacity.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Familiarity with Cognos reporting tools is considered an asset.
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems and meet tight reporting deadlines.
  • Experience working within international or multinational corporate environments.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Monthly Salary:

 

Monthly base salary for this position is from 3,505 to 4,382 EUR gross. The final offer will depend on your qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
