Due to continued growth, Mediq UK are now recruiting for a Master Data Integration Lead to lead on master data integration activities associated with business acquisitions and complex system change. The role ensures that master data from acquired businesses is effectively assessed, cleansed, mapped, governed, and integrated into Mediq’s core systems and data standards.

Salary - £65,000

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead all master data integration activities for business acquisitions, from pre-acquisition data assessment through to post-integration stabilisation, ensuring data readiness supports operational continuity and value realisation.
  • Own Day 1 and Day 100 master data readiness, ensuring critical data (customers, suppliers, products, pricing, contracts, and finance) is cleansed, mapped, validated, and loaded to agreed standards to enable trading, billing, and reporting from Day 1.
  • Work with the ERP implementation Manager to enable migrations (e.g. SAP, IFS), ensuring accurate and timely data conversion from legacy systems into Mediq core platforms.
  • Define and execute data migration strategies for acquisitions, including data profiling, gap analysis, mapping rules, cutover planning, rehearsal cycles, and post-go-live remediation.
  • Manage and direct internal master data teams and third-party integration partners to deliver against acquisition timelines, integration milestones, and service level agreements, holding teams accountable for speed, quality, and compliance.
  • Establish and enforce master data governance and standards during acquisitions, preventing data debt and ensuring acquired entities align to Mediq-wide data models, controls, and policies.
  • Partner closely with Integration, IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Operations leaders to ensure master data enables seamless system integration, ERP functionality, and end-to-end process continuity.
  • Identify and proactively mitigate data-related integration risks that could impact trading, customer service, financial close, regulatory compliance, or synergy delivery.
  • Oversee data quality monitoring and issue resolution post-acquisition, including root cause analysis, prioritisation of high-impact defects, and escalation management.
  • Support the design, testing, and deployment of data validation rules, controls, and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and auditability through ERP and system transitions.
  • Responsible for managing the Master Data team to enforce Mediq wide data standards as directed by functional representatives
  • Responsible to drive and deliver both on performance Master Data and SLA targets: speed (on-time and fast-track), quality (high-impact incidents and audit control), service (reach cost targets, professional standards) and simplification; and hold team members accountable for targets
  • Collaborate with relevant cross-functional stakeholders to achieve end-to-end Master Data process standardization and increased quality. Work closely with functional representatives and external service providers to ensure the implementation of these improvements
  • Provide input to the development of technical specifications for Master Data tools/applications in conjunction with functional and technology experts

 

 

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have extensive master data experience and ERP knowledge. The role works proactively with functional, technical, and integration stakeholders to ensure master data enables seamless system integration, scalable operations, and the successful delivery of Mediq’s acquisition-led growth strategy, so business partnering experience is essential.

It’ll be great if you also have:

 

  • 5+ years of Master data experience
  • ERP: knowledge about one or more systems, SAP, IFS, SAGE
  • Data Governance,  Cognos BI, Cognos Controller, PIM, power BI
  • University degree in Information Technology / business administration
