As part of this transformation, we are embarking on an exciting journey to transform our webshop from a customer order portal into a modern, customer-focused e-commerce platform. To achieve this vision, we are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Online Merchandiser to work closely with our E-Commerce Manager. This role is key to ensuring that our extensive product catalogue is enriched, optimized, and easily accessible to our customers, driving incremental revenue and creating a best-in-class e-commerce experience.

You will join the newly established e-Commerce team in Mediq Sweden. This role reports to the Strategy and Transformation Director and will be an integral part of our growth agenda. The role is based in our office in Kungsbacka, Sweden.
The Role
As an Online Merchandiser, you will ensure that as many relevant products as possible from our catalogue are listed and optimized for the webshop. Your focus will be on enhancing product content, structuring large volumes of product data, and improving findability and conversion rates. You will collaborate closely with commercial product managers, product data stewards, and the master data team, ensuring our e-commerce strategy is executed efficiently.
Fluency in both Swedish and English is required, as you will work with product information and content in both languages.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Listing & Optimization: Ensure products are accurately listed, enriched with engaging content, and optimized for searchability and conversion.
- Data Structuring & Management: Organize and manage large volumes of product data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and usability.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work with commercial product managers, master data teams, and e-commerce leadership to align product data with business objectives.
- Content Creation & Copywriting: Write and edit compelling product descriptions and category content in Swedish and English, optimized for SEO.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Use analytics tools to track product performance, customer behavior, and trends, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
- Fluency in Swedish and English (written and spoken).
- Degree (or in progress) in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong copywriting skills and ability to manage large product datasets efficiently.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, SEO, CMS, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI).
- Proficiency in Excel or similar data management tools; experience with database management is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical, with a data-driven mindset.
- Experience with IFS, HubSpot, A/B testing, and loyalty programs is a plus.
