Project Coordinator Apprentice

We are looking for a Project Coordinator Apprentice to join our Transformation team.
This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career who enjoys being organised, working across a variety of tasks, and delivering high-quality work and has an interest in project management or transformation. The PMO Coordinator Apprentice will support the day-to-day running of the Transformation function, helping to keep projects organised, on track, and well-coordinated.
You will work closely with the Transformation Manager and project teams across Sales, Marketing, Service, IT, and Data, gaining exposure to how different parts of the business operate.
This is an office based role, working from our Mediq UK site in Castle Donington.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role where organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential.
Project Support
- Assist with organising project plans, timelines, and key milestones
- Support preparation for meetings (agendas, notes, actions)
- Track actions and follow up with stakeholders
Reporting & Tracking
- Help maintain project trackers and status updates
- Support the upkeep of RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
- Assist in preparing simple reports and slides for leadership
Coordination
- Work with teams across the business to gather updates
- Help ensure everyone is aligned and informed on project progress
- Support communication between different departments
Tools & Organisation
- Use tools such as Microsoft Teams, Excel, SharePoint, and Planner
- Help keep project documentation organised and up to date
- Support the use of standard templates and ways of working
Learning & Development
- Build understanding of how transformation programmes are delivered
- Learn project management fundamentals and best practices
- Contribute ideas on how to improve processes and ways of working
