Quality & ESG Manager Norway

About the Role

As Quality & ESG Manager Norway, you will be responsible for leading and continuously improving Mediq’s Quality and Environmental Management systems within a regulated medical device distribution environment.

You will ensure compliance with ISO standards, EU MDR regulations, and ESG-related requirements, while supporting business operations and enabling continuous improvement across the organization.

You will work closely with the Nordic Quality team and Group functions, acting as a key partner to internal stakeholders across Supply Chain, Product Management, and other departments.

Key Responsibilities – What will you do?

• Ensure compliance with medical device regulations (EU MDR/IVDR), GDP requirements, and applicable standards
• Maintain and continuously improve Quality Management System (ISO 9001) and Environmental Management System (ISO 14001)
• Drive ESG-related initiatives and ensure alignment with Mediq’s sustainability goals
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on business operations
• Lead internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness
• Manage non-conformities, CAPA processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Oversee KPIs, performance tracking, and provide insights to management
• Support and guide the organization on quality, environmental, and regulatory topics

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Quality Management, or similar
• 5+ years of experience in quality management within medical devices or regulated environments
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and EU MDR/IVDR
• Experience with audits, compliance, and regulatory inspections
• Understanding ESG and sustainability frameworks is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally in an international environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in Norwegian and English

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a Nordic or international matrix organization
• Background in distribution or supply chain within healthcare
• Experience with ESG reporting or sustainability initiatives
• Familiarity with GDPR or data protection processes
