Resourcing Apprentice

 

Mediq UK are a supplier of healthcare consumables, healthcare equipment, cleaning, and hygiene products, as well as healthcare devices to hospitals, care homes, and other facilities serving the healthcare sector in the UK.

We are recruiting for a Resourcing Apprentice to support the Resourcing Partner with recruitment activity in the UK&I. You’ll gain valuable, hands on experience across recruitment and HR, whilst studying towards a Level 3 Business Administration qualification with full support from Mediq and our training provider.

 

Salary - £24,000

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in drafting and posting job adverts on various platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, company careers page, etc.)
  • Screen CVs and applications, and shortlist suitable candidates for interview
  • Create talent pools for our Distribution Centre vacancies i.e. warehouse and drivers
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Support candidate communications – sending updates, feedback, and interview details
  • Maintain accurate candidate records using the company’s Applicant Tracking System (Success Factors)
  • Manage recruitment inbox
  • Attending early careers events – strengthening relationships with local schools, colleges and universities
  • Assist with apprenticeship, intern, and graduate pipelines, helping to build future talent
  • Conduct basic pre-employment checks (right to work, references, etc.)
  • Support the onboarding process for successful candidates
  • Take ownership of Recruitment tracker and data
  • Contribute to social media recruitment campaigns and employer branding initiatives
