Mediq UK are a supplier of healthcare consumables, healthcare equipment, cleaning, and hygiene products, as well as healthcare devices to hospitals, care homes, and other facilities serving the healthcare sector in the UK.

We are now recruiting for a CAT C Driver to join our team at our site in Bristol. 

Working Monday to Friday as CAT C driver. There will be 6 - 8 multi-drop deliveries to hospitals, care homes and other healthcare providers.

Salary - £28,920.00

Responsibilities:

• Deliver customer orders in a timely manner, being polite and courteous representing the business.
• Ensure that the Company vehicle allocated is maintained in a roadworthy and clean condition, documenting appropriate checks and reporting any faults immediately.
• Understands the importance of complying with health and safety procedures and reporting hazards - Keeping Health & Safety high priority.
• Assist in loading assembled orders onto vehicle ensuring that the payload is within the limits for the vehicle and that the permissible axle weights are not exceeded and that goods are safely loaded for transportation and delivery
• Ensure duties are carried out within legal requirements complying fully with the requirements of the Company Operators License.
• Ensure all scheduled deliveries are completed on time, in full on a daily basis, utilizing the relevant route planning tools
• Deliver to customers as directed and assist with unloading and taking to final delivery point as requested. Report any problems with delivery sites.
• Ensure that all POD paperwork is correct and authorized.
• Communicate all customer problems and sales opportunities to the branch sales team promptly
• Report any accidents immediately

• Drivers Digital tachograph card
• CAT C1 license
• Driver CPC Card
• Flexibility - Willingness to work extra hours or help out in areas outside of role
