Finance Business Partner & Site Lead, Finland

Location: Espoo, Finland, with some travel across the Nordics

As Mediq Finland continues its exciting transformation journey, this role will play a key part in shaping future business performance, driving strategic initiatives and supporting sustainable, profitable growth. Reporting directly to the Finance Director Mediq Nordics, the Finance Business Partner Finland will help drive the growth agenda of our Nordic Healthcare Solutions business and create greater value for our customers.

As site lead for the Finnish office, you will also play an important role in shaping the future direction, engagement and culture of Mediq Finland. Working closely with Nordic and local leadership, you will strengthen the Finnish organization by encouraging cross-functional collaboration, supporting employee engagement and building a strong local community within a Nordic matrix environment.

This is a highly visible role with broad exposure across the Nordic Healthcare Solutions business and the Finnish organization. You will have meaningful influence on strategic decision-making, business performance and the future direction of Mediq Finland.

Your Impact

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance leader who wants to make a real impact in a transforming organization. You will support the Healthcare Solutions business in performance management, provide clear insight into the financial consequences of proposals and decisions, and prepare accountability meetings with senior management, including the Monthly Performance Review.

• Partner with the commercial team, challenging and supporting colleagues through data-driven financial analysis, including ROI calculations, pricing strategy and SKU analysis, to increase profitability.
• Drive P&L improvement by identifying performance opportunities and helping turn insight into new initiatives and measurable results.
• Support revenue growth through market analysis, assessment of market position and involvement in major tender bids.
• Help the commercial team make well-informed decisions using BI data solutions.
• Prepare and support accountability meetings with senior management, including the Monthly Performance Review.
• Contribute to potential acquisitions and divestments.
• Act as site lead for the Finland office, strengthening collaboration, engagement and community across the organization.

What you bring

We are looking for a collaborative finance professional who enjoys working across countries, functions and stakeholder groups. To succeed in this role, you combine strong financial and analytical capabilities with the confidence to influence, challenge and build trusted relationships in both local and Nordic or international environments.

• A university degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Economics.
• At least eight years of experience in a commercial finance organization, including extensive experience partnering with commercial teams.
• Proven ability to support corporate transformation and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, together with experience using AI and BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Copilot.
• A strong focus on delivering results, communicating the right story and meeting customer expectations.
• Commercial acumen, sound business judgement and a clear drive to make things better.
• Strong ownership and excellent written and verbal communication skills in Finnish and English.
