IT Support Analyst Apprentice

We are looking for an IT Support Apprentice to join our UK IT department.

We are looking for a proactive, customer‑focused IT Support Analyst to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will provide high‑quality 1st and 2nd line support, help shape our support processes, and ensure our colleagues can work effectively with reliable, secure technology

This is an office based role, working from our Mediq UK site in Castle Donington.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role where organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential.

You will:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all IT incidents and service requests.
  • Support user onboarding, offboarding, and provide system guidance to staff.
  • Build, configure, and deploy new IT hardware.
  • Log and update all incidents and requests in the IT Service Management tool.
  • Track IT assets and support lifecycle planning and inventory accuracy.
  • Liaise with third‑party suppliers for hardware, licensing, and specialist support.
  • Ensure IT communication rooms and technical spaces are organised and compliant.
  • Support project work, system upgrades, and operational tasks as needed.
  • Provide support to hybrid/remote users and travel to additional sites when required
  • Support Microsoft 365 including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Assist with Azure AD / Entra ID, MFA, user provisioning, and access management.
  • Basic networking support such as DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi, and VPN troubleshooting.
  • Support secure configurations, patching, and compliance monitoring.
  • Assist with endpoint management tools where applicable (e.g., Intune, Autopilot).
  • Deliver excellent customer service with clear, supportive communication.
  • Maintain user confidence by managing expectations and providing regular updates.
  • Build strong working relationships across the organisation.
  • Promote good IT practices and support users in adopting secure behaviours

  • Methodical, organised, and able to prioritise in fast‑paced environments

Salary - £25,000

Duration: 18 Months

As part of the recruitment and selection process, we will be holding an assessment for our apprentice positions at our headquarters in Castle Donington on Thursday 30th April.
