FP&A Analyst Casper

My job is super interesting. I play a part in the planning and control cycle, analyse the monthly results and craft budgets and forecasts. Supporting tenders, business cases and acquisitions is also part of my work. Mediq is a dynamic company, new challenges present itself constantly. That variety really makes my job extra fun.

 

Casper Joling , age 26, started at Mediq in May 2019. His colleagues describe him as sympathetic, social and driven. They also say he is competitive and a real go-getter. This is very fitting since in his job as FP&A analyst he’s supporting Mediq’s future plans as well as assuring health continues to be affordable.

A fitting challenge

“Ever since I was young I was interested in numbers and economy. For that reason I chose for a master in Business Adminstration and majored in Strategic Management & Finance. My first work experience was a year as M&A consultant. Interesting, but it still left me longing for a different challenge at the analytical level.

Digging deeper

“At Mediq I can really dig in to the numbers and have a real impact on the development of the business. On top of that working in health care really suits my personality. Mediq stimulates me to keep on learning, I will start my level 1 Chartered Financial Analyst soon.

Lots of opportunity to grow

“Recently I worked on a big tender for enteral nutrition. Out of five competitors two were selected. We really wanted to win this contract and we did! A great win for everybody at Mediq. How I see my future? There are lots of opportunities for growth here. Finance Business Partner or Business Controller would come to mind. So yes, I see myself working at Mediq for the foreseeable future.”
