About the role

 

The FP&A Controller will work for the Nordics business of Mediq, supported by the Business Service Center of Mediq in Vilnius. The FP&A Controller works in the Nordic Finance team with colleagues in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.

 

Being at the heart of the Finance organization of Mediq Nordics, the FP&A Controller has a key role in the transformation process to increase operation effectiveness and profitability.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Plan, perform and improve the performance cycle including the budget process, quarterly forecasts and monthly reporting
  • Prepare Monthly reporting to Mediq Nordics management and Mediq Group
  • Analyze, report and drive improvements on liquidity management
  • Review financial information and key financial ratios, conduct cause analyses and propose possible correction measures
  • Finance representation in various projects, aimed at increasing profitability and/or operational effectiveness
  • Involvement in potential acquisitions and/or divestments

 

Requirements:

 

  • University degree in Finance/Accounting or Business Economics
  • 5+ years of experience in an analytical Finance role required
  • Excellent skills in MS Office (Powerpoint and Excel) and experience with BI tools (e.g. MS PowerBI). Preferably experience with IFS and/or Cognos Controller
  • Ability to oversee complex cross functional processes and make clear recommendations to the management team
  • Functional competencies as financial planning, modelling and accounting
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven strategic mindset
  • Positive and pro-active mindset with a passion for financial analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Norwegian and English)
