Make an Impact as a Field Safety Coordinator

We’re looking for a proactive Field Safety Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in safeguarding our customers and patients across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland.

 

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our safety processes - administering Field Safety Notices (FSN), Field Safety Corrective Actions (FSCA), and product failure reports. You’ll analyze cases, determine and assign actions, and coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure every case is handled effectively, timely, and in full compliance from start to finish. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining the highest standards of safety and trust in the healthcare products we deliver.

Key Responsibilities - What are you going to do?

 

  • Monitor the daily Field Safety Notices (FSN)/Recall inbox and act as the first point of contact for FSN/Field Safety Corrective Actions (FSCA) from suppliers in the Nordic countries.
  • Investigate affected products and required supplier actions; block stock if necessary.
  • Create and monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) of type FSN/Recall in IFS.
  • Identify impacted customers and arrange start meetings with stakeholders to define and assign actions.
  • Follow up on progress to ensure timely, efficient, and compliant completion of all actions.
  • Communicate promptly with external parties (customers, suppliers) and archive all documentation in NCR.
  • Receive and process product failure reports from customers via internal channels.
  • Monitor daily NCRs of type Product Failures in IFS and ensure all required data is collected.
  • Secure product samples when relevant and notify external parties (manufacturer, authorized representative, importer, competent authority, notified body) within required timelines (48h or 24h for serious cases).
  • Log internal actions and external feedback in NCR and follow up to ensure compliance and timely resolution.

 

Qualifications and Skills - What is your background?

 

  • Strong coordination skills to manage safety cases from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication in English; fluency in Swedish required. Knowledge of the other Nordic languages is a plus.
  • Solid administrative skills and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Experience with business systems (e.g., IFS) is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience with regulated product distribution is a plus.
  • Structured, responsible, and able to follow procedures.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Strong team player and communicator, comfortable with calls and written communication.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Motivated by results and continuous improvement.
