Job Description
Finance Strategic Projects Leader
Posting Start Date:  2/24/26

At Mediq, we are on a mission to improve healthcare outcomes by making care more accessible and affordable. As Finance Strategic Projects Leader, you will operate at the heart of our organization, translating financial and operational performance into clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership and shareholders.

This role is particularly suited for professionals with a strong M&A and transaction background, for example from M&A Transaction Services, deal advisory, or financial due diligence roles within the Big 4 or similar environments. Your experience analyzing complex businesses, assessing value drivers, and communicating financial insights will be key in shaping Mediq’s financial story.

You combine strong analytical capabilities with strategic thinking and excellent stakeholder management skills. In this highly visible group role, you will support value creation, strengthen performance management, and help shape Mediq’s financial narrative in a dynamic, international, private equity-backed environment.

What will you do

In this role, you will provide independent, group-level financial insight and decision support. You will act as a central coordination point across functions and markets, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of key financial data and performance information.

You will coordinate and continuously improve recurring stakeholder reporting and ad-hoc information requests. You develop high-quality, presentation-ready materials with a clear financial storyline and coordinate inputs from different teams, ensuring consistent messaging and a single source of truth.

You support group planning and forecasting, maintaining and enhancing financial models and outlooks. By analyzing business performance and identifying key value drivers, you provide actionable insights that connect results to strategic priorities and value creation initiatives.

You safeguard reporting governance by owning definitions, reconciliations, and controls for key metrics. You identify data quality issues and drive resolution in close collaboration with finance and data teams.

You lead strategic projects or workstreams as required by the CFO or Director Group Finance & Control, gathering inputs, managing timelines and stakeholder expectations, and ensuring high delivery standards with minimal supervision.

What do you bring

You hold a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics and bring 8–15 years of relevant experience in a multinational environment, preferably within a private equity-backed company.

Ideally, you bring a strong background in M&A, transaction services, or financial due diligence, for example gained in a Big 4 Transaction Services / Deal Advisory team or a similar M&A-focused environment. Experience with financial modelling, business analysis, and deal-related analytics is highly valued.

You are highly analytical and capable of translating complex financial and operational data into clear insights and compelling presentations for senior stakeholders.

You understand business performance drivers and can connect financial outcomes to strategic objectives and value creation opportunities.

You are comfortable interacting with senior leadership, able to influence without formal authority, and able to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

You are resilient and able to manage multiple requests, tight deadlines, and complex questions without losing focus on quality. You are fluent in English and comfortable operating in an international setting.

What does Mediq offer

At Mediq, you will join an ambitious and purpose-driven international healthcare company with a strong growth agenda. You will work closely with senior leadership and gain exposure to high-level strategic and financial decision-making.

We offer a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment where your expertise truly makes an impact. You will have the opportunity to shape group-level performance management, contribute directly to value creation, and influence key financial discussions in a private equity-backed setting.

In addition, Mediq offers a competitive compensation package and the opportunity to further develop your career in an international organization committed to improving healthcare every day.
