In this role, you sit at the heart of Mediq’s global diabetes portfolio, where marketing, innovation and product strategy come together. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and play a key role in shaping and launching diabetes products that make a real difference for patients and healthcare professionals. From global product positioning to local go-to-market execution, you translate strategy into impactful product launches and marketing initiatives across multiple markets.
You own the global diabetes product portfolio and hierarchy, identify growth and margin opportunities, and drive innovation and assortment optimization. Working closely with marketing, clusters, local markets and cross-functional teams, you ensure successful product launches, strong value propositions and consistent messaging throughout the product lifecycle.
You are also responsible for product development in a highly regulated healthcare environment. Together with QA/RA, you ensure that all products and launches comply with Medical Device Regulation (MDR) requirements.
Key responsibilities

Develop and execute the global diabetes category and marketing strategy across clusters and local markets

Lead global and local product launches, including positioning, value propositions, launch toolkits and go-to-market plans

Identify sales growth and gross margin improvement opportunities and translate these into concrete portfolio and marketing actions

Own and continuously optimize the diabetes product hierarchy, including approval of new SKUs, portfolio expansion and rationalization

Define and steer the good–better–best assortment strategy and advise markets on pricing, promotion and marketing mix

Drive Mediq Own Brand diabetes product innovation, from concept development to launch and lifecycle management

Conduct white-spot and market analyses to identify unmet needs, portfolio gaps and innovation opportunities within diabetes care

Collaborate closely with Marketing on campaigns, content and communication around key diabetes “hero” products

Ensure product development and launch activities comply with MDR requirements, in close collaboration with QA/RA
What we are looking for

A completed Master’s degree
-
More than 5 years of relevant experience in product management, category management or marketing within healthcare

Strong affinity with or experience in diabetes care, medical devices or chronic care solutions

Experience in driving product launches and translating product strategy into effective marketing execution

Experience working in a mid-size to large multinational organization within a matrix structure

Proven ability to optimize portfolios with a clear focus on growth, margin improvement and customer value

Strong understanding of the end-to-end product lifecycle, from development and launch to optimization and phase-out

A strategic, commercial mindset combined with a hands-on approach
