Group Consolidation Manager

Are you an experienced consolidation expert who thrives in an international, fast-paced environment At Mediq, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant group financial reporting across 15 markets. As Group Consolidation Manager (Interim), you will operate at the heart of our global finance function, driving process improvements, supporting digital transformation, and safeguarding the integrity of our consolidated financial data. This is a high-impact role within an ambitious, private equity-owned healthcare organization where your expertise truly makes a difference .

What will you do

In this international position, you will manage the full group consolidation process and support monthly and annual reporting cycles. You will work closely with local finance teams across 15 markets as well as with Group Finance, FP&A, Tax, and IT.

You will be responsible for managing the IBM Cognos consolidation system, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation, reporting, and budgeting. You oversee month-end close procedures, safeguarding completeness, accuracy, and compliance of submissions from local entities.

You lead consolidation processes, including the design, maintenance, and rollout of new reporting requirements. You maintain and enhance BI automated reports, improving data accessibility and visualization for finance teams. You also manage user access rights and security settings to ensure strong internal controls.

As a key finance counterpart to IT, you support system upgrades, enhancements, troubleshooting, and automation initiatives. You contribute actively to Mediq’s digital finance transformation roadmap, helping to simplify, standardize, and accelerate reporting processes.

In addition, you work closely with FP&A and Tax teams to ensure timely extraction and validation of financial data for performance reporting, statutory accounts, and tax compliance. You oversee CBS reporting in the Netherlands and ensure compliance with local regulations. You continuously identify opportunities for best practices, process simplification, automation, and faster close cycles, while maintaining clear SOPs and process documentation .

What do you bring

You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field and bring over 10 years of experience in financial consolidation and group reporting within an international environment.

You have strong hands-on experience with IBM Cognos Controller, as well as in financial close, budgeting, and reporting processes. You possess solid knowledge of IFRS and statutory financial reporting requirements.

You are comfortable working at the intersection of Finance and IT and have experience collaborating on system management, upgrades, and process improvements. You bring strong project management skills and are able to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.

You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. With a proactive and self-driven mindset, you focus on continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency. You communicate clearly and are able to translate complex technical concepts into simple, understandable language. You take ownership and deliver results.
