About the role 

 

The Inventory Analyst plays a key role in helping Mediq maintain healthy inventory levels across our international markets. Working closely with supply planners, demand planners, finance teams and local market stakeholders, you will turn data into actionable insights that support better inventory decisions and drive continuous improvement across the business.

 

This role sits at the heart of our Supply Chain function, where you will help identify inventory risks and opportunities, support inventory optimization initiatives, and contribute to reducing excess and risk stock across the Mediq Group. Through analysis, collaboration and a proactive mindset, you will help ensure that the right products are available at the right time while supporting efficient working capital management.

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Monitor inventory levels across warehouses and distribution centers, ensuring visibility and control of inventory performance across markets.
  • Support local markets in identifying inventory reduction opportunities and managing risk stock through collaboration with central trading functions.
  • Prepare and maintain inventory reports, analyses, and data for operational and management meetings, providing insights into inventory performance and trends.
  • Track and monitor key inventory KPIs, including total inventory value and risk stock reduction targets, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within inventory planning and control processes, helping optimize stock levels and working capital.
  • Partner with Supply & Demand Managers, Supply Planners, Finance teams, and local stakeholders to support inventory improvement projects across Mediq markets.

 

Requirements: 

 

  • Previous experience in inventory management, supply chain, planning, logistics, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, IFS, SLIM, or similar inventory management tools is considered an advantage.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with Power BI or similar reporting and visualization tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach and a willingness to challenge existing processes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across international teams.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Monthly Salary: 

 

Monthly base salary for this position is from 3,200 to 3,800 Eur gross. The final offer will depend on your qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
