Sales & Marketing Intern – 12 month Internship

We are recruiting for a motivated and creative Sales & Marketing Intern to join on a 12 month contract, working at our brand new UK headquarters in Castle Donington. You will support the internal Sales & Marketing team on projects with a direct impact on our business and be responsible for telesales, quotes, marketing material and follow up support to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Managing promo merch, inc. stock takes, maintenance and event preparation of goodie bags, roller banners etc. this includes the preparation of event goodie bags, organising transportation to events etc. exclude
- Support Sales team prepping event material
- Management of agreed sales accounts
- Providing support to the sales team with telesales and quotes
- Help manage and update customer databases with accurate information
- Support selling activities through data analysis and preparation of reports
- Support daily administrative tasks in the sales and marketing departments
- Attending events with external sales team
- Branding, managing rebranding, managing branded assets, supporting with branded documents such as letter heads, branded invoices
- Assist in creating engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, website and SharePoint
- Conduct market research to support comms campaigns
- Analyse performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics to assess campaign effectiveness
- Monitor competitor activity, using internal and internet sources to gather intelligence on competitors.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Organise marketing materials and resources to support team projects effectively
- Ad-hoc administrative duties in the office
- Provide general administrative support, including managing calendars, answering phone calls, organising files, and preparing documents
What are we looking for?
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Marketing, Business or related field
- Proficiency in MS Office, excel, word etc
- Basic knowledge of analytic tools is beneficial but not required
- A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box while being detail-oriented in execution.
- Genuine interest in Sales and Marketing
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks
- A team player who can collaborate effectively across departments
- Understanding of social media and communications platforms
