About the Role
Join our dynamic Finance team as a Senior General Ledger Accountant! In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing accounting operations across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, deliver critical month-end processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Role Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key General Ledger (GL) team member for assigned countries, handling complex queries and guiding stakeholders on accounting matters.
- Execute core accounting tasks: Month-End Close, journal entries (accruals, prepayments, payroll), IFRS16 reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare VAT, local tax, and statistical reports, and support annual audit processes.
- Investigate and resolve ERP-related process issues, analyze financial data, and recommend improvements for accounting controls.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, deliver high-quality work aligned with KPIs, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive efficiency and effectiveness in GL transaction processing while fostering best practices within the team.
Role Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP and IFRS) and tax regulations.
- Advanced experience with global accounting ERP systems and reporting processes.
- Over 3 years of practical experience in accounting operations; service center background is a plus.
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Results oriented, customer-focused, and process-minded with continuous improvement mindset.
- Proficient in business-level English (written and spoken).

Monthly Salary:
Monthly base salary for this position is from 3,200 to 3,900 Eur gross. The final offer will depend on your qualifications, competencies, and professional experience.
