Solution Architect composable ecommerce

You help translate complex digital ecommerce challenges into solutions that truly work for our customers, healthcare professionals, and colleagues. You think ahead, maintain an overview, and naturally connect technology and business. 

In this role, you work in an international environment and actively contribute to the further development of our group digital customer facing landscape and it’s connections to multiple backend ERP, CRM and PIM systems. You are a trusted sparring partner for stakeholders and a reliable point of contact for development teams. 

What will you do? 

You design and deliver digital E2E ecommerce solutions that fit within Mediq’s broader architectural vision, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and future-proof. 

Specifically, you will: 

• Design end-to-end digital ecommerce solutions for platforms and initiatives within our digital ecommerce ecosystem 

• Design future proof connection between the ecommerce ecosystem and multiple ERP, CRM and PIM systems 

• Translate business and functional requirements into clear technical architectures with appropriate technologies, frameworks, and integration patterns 

• Work within a composable ecommerce and cloud-native architecture 

• Advise on technology choices, integrations, and architectural principles 

• Collaborate with development teams during realization and implementation giving guidance and technical leadership 

• Ensure solutions comply with security, privacy, and compliancy requirements 

• Align with product owners, enterprise architects, development teams and other stakeholders 

What do you bring? 

You are an experienced architect who maintains a clear overview while paying attention to detail. You know how to bring people along in technical decisions and feel comfortable in a fast-changing environment. 

You have: 

• Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure), APIs, microservices, and headless digital ecosystems (composable architecture). 

• Hands-on experience with software development and DevOps practices. 

• Experience with agile methodologies, agile way of working and CI/CD pipelines. 

• Knowledge of architecture frameworks (Agile Architecture). 

• ​​​Background in internal backend system and customer integration and automation technologies (EDI, OCI, APIs, middleware). 

• ​Familiarity with UX principles and digital customer experience. 

• ​Knowledge of data architecture and analytics platforms. 

• ​Experience with the use of AI and chatbot integration.

In addition, you bring: 

• A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a comparable field 

• Extensive experience with digital platforms and solution architecture 

• Several years of experience in a similar role 

• Strong communication skills and the ability to switch between different stakeholders
