Strategic Sourcing Manager
Join Mediq as a Strategic Sourcing Manager and play a pivotal role at the intersection of procurement, business development, and commercial strategy. In this high-impact role, you will build long-term partnerships with suppliers, strengthen our product portfolio, and accelerate growth across key HealthCare Solutions segments such as Surgical, OR & ICU, and Lab.
About the Role
You will work closely with Commercial Business Development and Global Category Directors to translate market and customer insights into sourcing strategies and concrete supplier-driven opportunities. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, from scouting supplier innovations to leading negotiations, contracting, and ensuring compliance and supply continuity.

Key Responsibilities - What are you going to do?
- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, including SRM and QBR governance.
- Identify, structure, and prioritize supplier-driven growth opportunities with clear business cases.
- Lead end-to-end execution of sourcing projects and onboarding of new suppliers.
- Drive commercial value through negotiation, contracting, and risk management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align local sourcing with global strategies.
Qualifications and Skills - What is your background?
- Proven negotiation expertise and experience closing commercial agreements.
- Strong background in supplier-driven business development or M&A.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including influencing senior leaders.
- Strong analytical mindset with a structured, data-driven problem-solving approach.
- Fluency in English; Nordic languages are a plus.
