Commercialization manager
Do you want to play a key role in the development and successful market introduction of new Mediq Own Brand products? For our growing portfolio, we are looking for a Commercialization Manager who will take ownership of the end‑to‑end commercialization process, from initial concept to successful market launch.
Your role
You will lead cross-functional collaboration between Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Supply Chain and Procurement, ensuring all milestones. From product definition to regulatory approval and launch readiness, all are delivered on time and in compliance with medical device requirements.
A core part of the role is ensuring that every new product meets all applicable regulatory and quality standards, coordinating documentation, approvals, and risk assessments to guarantee launch-ready compliance. Beyond launch, you monitor commercial performance and support lifecycle management, including optimizations, portfolio reviews and phase-outs.
You will also play a key role in strategic initiatives that strengthen Mediq’s ambition to grow as a product company. This includes leading the selection and implementation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, supporting post-merger integration of product portfolios, and managing cross-functional projects such as artwork redesigns or packaging updates.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end commercialization of Mediq Own Brand products, ensuring timely, compliant and high‑quality launches
- Translate category and business strategies into actionable commercialization plans and milestones
- Coordinate cross‑functional alignment with Marketing, QA/RA, Quality, Supply Chain and Procurement
- Ensure timely completion of documentation, regulatory submissions and quality requirements
- Drive launch readiness, including risk management and cross‑functional decision‑making
- Support portfolio prioritization and resource allocation for high‑impact projects
- Monitor post‑launch performance and support lifecycle management
- Steer strategic initiatives such as PLM implementation, packaging/artwork updates and post‑merger portfolio integration
- Enhance ways of working and contribute to continuous improvement of commercialization processes
What we are looking for
- A bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering or Life Sciences
- 5 to 8 years of experience in commercialization, product management or new product introduction, preferably within a multinational organization
- At least 5 years of experience leading cross-functional product development or launch processes
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment with varied stakeholder groups
- Strong understanding of regulatory and quality requirements for medical devices (MDR knowledge preferred)
- Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken)
