As part of our digital transformation journey, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic E-Commerce Manager to take our current order portal and transform it into a modern, customer-focused e-commerce platform. You will join the newly established e-Commerce team in Mediq Sweden. This role reports to the Strategy and Transformation Director and will be an integral part of our growth agenda. The role is based in our office in Kungsbacka, Sweden.
The Role As the E-Commerce Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Strategy and Transformation and will have the opportunity to directly shape the future of our e-commerce portals, transforming them into modern, feature-rich, and customer-focused platforms.
This is a hybrid role that combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. You will play a central role in building and executing the e-commerce commercial strategy, ensuring that products, features, and functionalities align to create an exceptional customer experience. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams—including marketing, sales, IT, and operations—to ensure the platform delivers measurable results for the business.
Key Responsibilities
· E-Commerce Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the e-commerce platform, aligned with the overall business goals and customer needs.
- Lead the transformation of our webshop from a basic order portal to a best-in-class e-commerce experience.
- Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and optimize performance.
· Platform Development & Optimization:
- Collaborate with IT, external developers, and design teams to implement new features, functionalities, and system integrations.
- Continuously optimize the user experience, site performance, and design to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
- Manage the product catalog to ensure accurate and up-to-date product information, pricing, and availability.
· Hands-On Execution:
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to create and execute customer-focused campaigns, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Leverage A/B testing and data insights to experiment and refine campaigns, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Use analytics tools to monitor platform performance and make data-driven decisions to improve conversion rates and drive revenue.
· Customer Experience & Loyalty:
- Champion a customer-first approach to ensure the platform meets the unique needs of our B2B customer base.
- Gather and act on customer feedback to continuously improve functionality and user experience.
- Explore opportunities to introduce personalized recommendations, customer loyalty programs, and self-service capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or similar) and 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
- Alternatively, 5-7 years of relevant hands-on experience without a degree.
- Proven experience managing or transforming e-commerce platforms, ideally within a B2B environment.
- Experience with IFS, HubSpot, and Power BI is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of modern e-commerce trends, tools, and platforms, with experience in both strategy development and execution.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, customer campaigns, and loyalty programs is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience working with consumer e-commerce is a bonus, but not required.
- English is required, and Swedish is a strong plus.
