This is a role for a commercial Key Account Manager who wants more than account maintenance, someone who wants to shape strategy, drive growth, and leave a footprint in a complex and meaningful market.

 

Your mission

 

As Key Account Manager, you will take full ownership of a defined customer portfolio and play a central role in driving profitable, long‑term growth. You will work at the intersection of strategy and execution, translating market insight into action and turning relationships into lasting partnerships.

 

This role offers significant autonomy, visibility, and influence within Mediq’s commercial organization.

 

What you will be responsible for

 

  • You will manage the full customer lifecycle, from strategic planning and opportunity identification to contract implementation and ongoing development
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs, define clear account strategies, and turn insight into actionable growth initiatives across pricing, product mix, and value propositions
  • Proactively develop customers through upselling, cross‑selling, retention strategies, and tender/non‑tender opportunities, always with margin and long‑term value in mind
  • Play a key role in tender shaping, positioning, pricing, and negotiation – collaborating with internal stakeholders across local, regional, and group levels
  • Build credibility and trust with decision‑makers by understanding their business challenges and translating Mediq’s solutions into real customer value
  • Actively participate in team development, share best practices, and help strengthen Mediq’s overall commercial capability

 

What will help you succeed

 

  • A proven track record in key account management or complex B2B sales, preferably within healthcare, medical, or similarly regulated environments
  • Strong ability to work strategically, tactically, and operationally and to move confidently between these levels
  • A results‑driven mindset, with clear experience delivering revenue growth, market share, and profitability
  • High commercial maturity, with strong negotiation skills and financial understanding
  • Comfort working in international, multi‑stakeholder environments
  • Relevant academic background (BSc or higher)
  • Fluency in Swedish and English (spoken and written)

Location and Travel

 

This is a home-based role, with our head office located in Kungsbacka. You will be expected to visit the office from time to time for meetings, collaboration, and other business-related purposes.

 

The role will primarily support customers in the Stockholm region. As a significant part of your customer visits will take place in and around Stockholm, it is important that you are based in Stockholm or within a reasonable commuting distance.
