Senior Demand Planner (Maternity Cover)

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Senior Demand Planner to join our team. This is your opportunity to work for a leading company where you enable sustainable healthcare and make a difference to society every day.

 

This maternity cover role may be filled either through a fixedterm employment contract or a consultancy engagement, depending on mutual fit and availability.

 

What are you going to do?

 

Local Demand Plan:

  • Full accountability for the quality, robustness, and timely delivery of the local demand plan
  • Lead local demand review meetings across segments, products, and tenders
  • Translate commercial plans, tender assumptions, and portfolio changes into a reliable demand forecast
  • Ensure timely and accurate handover of the agreed demand plan to Supply Planning
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities and manage demand volatility
  • Monitor and drive initiatives to improve stock health (SLOBs)

 

Local S&OP Process:

  • Own and facilitate the local S&OP cycle, ensuring compliance with group standards
  • Prepare and lead S&OP management meetings, including decision proposals and scenarios

 

Local Liaison Officer:

  • Act as the primary escalation point for demand–supply challenges and service risks
  • Represent the local BU in discussions with Supply Planning team
  • Monitor KPI’s and drive corrective actions to improve, OTIF, stock health and FC accuracy
  • Lead and sponsor local improvement initiatives toward Supply Planning (service, efficiency, inventory)

 

What is your background?

 

  • 5-8 years’ of experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, forecasting
  • At least 2–3 years’ operating at a senior or lead level
  • Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Adaptive and responsive to changes
  • Strong data analysis and ERP skills
  • Organized and well structured
  • Customer centric approach
  • Strong relationship management, collaborative and communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Swedish languages (written and spoken)
  • Industry experience in Healthcare is highly valuable
