Continuous Improvement and Standards Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to drive operational excellence across Mediq Nordics Supply Chain. In this role, you will focus on identifying and solving root causes of inefficiencies across the full order-to-delivery value chain; from implementation of customer and that first order you will together with the teams improve the customer experience until final delivery. This includes for example, demand and supply planning, warehouse operations, transportation and other support functions.
Your Mission
Working hands-on with the business, you will apply Lean principles and data-driven analysis to improve flow, reduce waste, and strengthen service performance. While operating in a regulated healthcare environment, your primary mission is to embed a culture of continuous improvement and ensure reliable, efficient end-to-end processes.
Key Responsibilities; what are you going to do?
You will take an end-to-end perspective on the supply chain, identifying improvement opportunities across functions and ensuring that solutions address true root causes, not just symptoms. This includes working cross-functionally, coaching teams, and embedding improvements into daily operations.
- Identify and analyze root causes of inefficiencies across the order-to-delivery value chain
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies to improve flow, productivity, and service levels
- Lead cross-functional problem-solving and improvement projects across operations, planning, and customer interfaces
- Establish and implement standard ways of working (SOPs) to ensure sustainable improvements
- Build performance management through KPIs, visual management, and data-driven decision making
- Lead and develop people to ensure the operational processes are well performed including documentation and trainings
- Act as contact point for authorities and external audit partners in quality matters
- Collaborate closely with warehouse management, procurement, planning, and customer service to ensure high quality throughout the supply chain
Qualifications and Skills; what is your background?
- You bring experience from improving complex operations and are comfortable working across the full value chain. You have a strong analytical mindset and a passion for understanding how processes connect
- Experience from regulated environments such as healthcare or pharmaceuticals is beneficial, but not essential. Understanding of quality frameworks (e.g. GDP or ISO) is also an advantage
- 5-10+ years of experience in continuous improvement, Lean operational excellence
- Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and drive end-to-end process improvements
- Strong knowledge of Lean tools (e.g. value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen, root cause analysis)
- Hands-on, structured, and data-driven with a pragmatic approach
- Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience working with authorities and external audit partners in quality matters
