We are looking for a Sales Lead - New Business to strengthen Mediq’s growth agenda in Sweden and Norway. This role is designed for someone who thrives in the early stages of customer development; where structure is still being built, relationships are forming, and commercial potential is unlocked step by step.

 

You will work closely with our Head of Growth, who leads market entry and new lead generation. Together, you will develop new customers and new business opportunities from first contact through a structured ramp-up phase. Once the business is established and stable - typically within 6–12 months - the customer is handed over to the KAM organization, allowing you to focus on the next growth opportunity. You will also work with our private label portfolio, being a key person in planning and executing tenders, product steering and communication with our product managers, tender department and colleagues in the sales team in Norway and Sweden.

 

This is a hands-on, high-impact role with strong exposure across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

As Sales Lead - New Business, your main responsibility is to incubate new accounts and transform early opportunities into sustainable, profitable customer relationships. You will act as the commercial owner during the critical start-up phase, ensuring that each new customer is built on a solid foundation before transition to the KAM team.

 

Your responsibilities include:

 

  • Collaborating closely with the Head of Growth to qualify leads and shape new business opportunities
  • Taking full commercial ownership of new customers from initial engagement through ramp-up
  • Leading customer dialogues, negotiations, pilots, and early contract phases
  • Developing value-based solutions, pricing models, and commercial structures in close cooperation with internal stakeholders
  • Coordinating cross-functionally with KAMs, Product, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure scalable setups
  • Preparing and executing structured handovers to the KAM team once the incubation phase is completed
  • Prepare and focus on county council product tenders and offer our private label portfolio where suitable
  • You will act as the main liaison between our product managers and our local sales teams regarding our private label segment

 

Success in this role means new customers are onboarded efficiently, early revenue and margin targets are met, and each account is ready for long-term growth when transferred to the KAM team. Just as important, insights and learnings from new business are fed back into the organization to strengthen Mediq’s overall growth capability.

 

Who You Are

 

  • You are commercially driven, structured, and comfortable operating in environments where not everything is predefined.
  • You enjoy opening doors, building trust, and turning potential into tangible results.
  • You likely have experience from key account management, business development, or complex B2B sales, preferably within healthcare, medical devices, or another regulated environment.
  • You combine strong negotiation skills with analytical thinking and a collaborative mindset.
  • You are fluent in Swedish and English and are motivated by building something that lasts.
