E-commerce Product & Content Assistant (12 Month Contract)

 

Are you digitally curious, structured, and have an eye for great content? Do you have a passion for ecommerce, online communication, and user experience? Then you might be our new E-commerce Assistant in the Mediq Nordics E-commerce team.

 

About the Role

 

As an E-commerce Assistant, you’ll play a key role in the operation and ongoing optimisation of Mediq Nordics’ four webshops in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland. One of your main responsibilities will be supporting the ongoing migration of the Norwegian, Swedish, and Finnish shops to a common system and platform—this includes content creation, translation of existing content, and other tasks related to the migration.

 

You’ll also help improve the customer journey through specific UX initiatives and by developing and maintaining FAQ articles, video guides, and other support resources.

 

This position is currently a 12-month project-based role.

 

Key Responsibilities - What are you going to do?

 

  • Set up and refine webshop content—from landing pages to articles and product descriptions—to ensure a cohesive and high-quality user experience.
  • Support the migration of three Nordic webshops (NO/SE/FI), including translation and content adaptation.
  • Assist in executing campaigns across platforms.
  • Optimise the digital customer journey and site performance through concrete UX initiatives—including the development and maintenance of FAQ articles, video guides, and other self-service resources.

 

Qualifications and Skills - What is your background?

 

  • Relevant educational background within digital communication, ecommerce, or marketing.
  • Structured and responsible coordinator who enjoys planning and keeping an overview—even with several tasks running simultaneously.
  • You’re not afraid to learn new systems. Experience with CMS platforms is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Good understanding of web design and digital expression. Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Strong in written communication and detail-oriented. You write clearly and fluently and have a solid grasp of grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • It’s an advantage if you speak Norwegian or Finnish, as you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across the Nordic region.
