Sales Manager Denmark

 

As Sales Manager Denmark, you will be responsible for leading the full sales process within the business line. You will work with high-quality medical devices, healthcare products, and services delivered to retail customers, the defense industry, municipalities, and regions through tender contracts and price agreements.

 

You will lead a team of 5 Sales Professionals in Denmark and support them in achieving the sales and growth strategy. As part of the Sales Managers team, reporting directly to the Sales Director in Mediq Denmark, you will guide sales activities, ensure a high standard of work, strengthen customer relationships, and support the team’s overall performance and contribution.

What You Will Do

 

Sales Management:

 

  • Develop and execute the sales and market access strategy for the business area, in close alignment with the Sales Director.
  • Stay close to the market by understanding customer needs, competitor activity, and market trends.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across municipalities, regions, and retail customers.
  • Drive growth within existing business areas and identify opportunities to enter new markets.
  • Lead pre-tender market activities, support tender implementation, and optimize tender contracts to ensure strong commercial results and profitability.
  • Define proposal frameworks, pricing, and bidding strategies for price agreements.
  • Prepare and manage segment forecasts and sales budgets.
  • Work closely with Product Management Team and Sourcing Team to ensure a strong and relevant product assortment.
  • Communicate and deliver clear value propositions that support an excellent customer experience.
  • Manage territory sales activities, including customer segmentation, planning, follow-up, and customer meetings.

 

People Leadership and Team Development:

 

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Professionals, with a strong focus on engagement, performance, and professional growth.
  • Ensure the team has the right capabilities, knowledge, and commercial skills to meet customer needs and market demands.
  • Support continuous improvement of sales and proposal processes in line with company strategy.
  • Drive performance management, goal setting, and follow-up for the sales team, with a focus on contribution and results.

 

What You Bring

 

  • Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in a similar Sales Manager role, ideally within the healthcare market.
  • At least 3–5 years of leadership experience, managing and developing a high-performing sales team.
  • Strong ability to coach, motivate, and support Sales Professionals in reaching their goals.
  • Experience with tender sales processes, both operationally and strategically.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to build, review, and challenge business cases.
  • Highly developed negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Solid stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • A structured, energetic, and results-oriented approach.
  • Fluency in both Danish and English.
